Regardless of the approach, hip replacement surgery will include the replacement of your joint’s damaged cartilage and bone with implants. A combination of your past medical history, physical examinations, diagnostic imaging (X-rays, CT-scans, etc.), and experience with a particular surgical approach, will assist your surgeon to determine which is best approach for your specific needs.
